AHN thin-walled PCR tubes are optimised for exceptional PCR performance in a wide range of thermocyclers. These innovative and RNase free PCR tubes are the result of years of research into the most optimal design for PCR tubes, coupled with painstaking craftsmanship to make sure each product is perfect.
AHN PCR strip tubes are made from a custom formulation of polypropylene that ensures low interaction with the PCR reaction mix. Each set of 8 tube strips features a highly polished interior that minimises protein binding and results in optimal enzyme performance at all times.
With frosted and white opacity options to optimise signal-to-noise ratios, and compatibility with standard and real-time PCR routines, AHN PCR consumables are a great choice for all your PCR needs. Our plates come with multiple skirt options, alphanumeric coding and raised well rims to simplify sample tracking and ensure secure sealing.
All variants of PCR seals are suitable for cold storage, withstanding temperatures as low as -40ºC. For ultra-low temperature storage (around -80ºC), we recommend using our aluminium sealing foil, which is specifically designed to maintain seal integrity in extremely cold conditions, making it ideal for long-term storage of PCR samples.

PCR Strips
Optical measurement – high transparency PCR strips allows use in applications where the optical qPCR signal comes from the bottom of the tubes / ultra clear caps for qPCR with optical reading through the cap
Compatibility – the 0.1 mL strips are particularly recommended for fast thermocyclers requiring low profile tubes and the 0.2 mL strips are perfect for the standard thermocyclers requiring regular profile tubes. Compatibility charts are available on request
